About the Item

Orville is a textile inspired, minimalist painting on plexiglass. The surfaces is carved and filled with paint, leaving a groove textured surface. A spraying technique is applied to the frame and the artwork that gives the surface a hammered look. The colors are a deep teal along with muted pink. I painted the colors to fade into one another like looking at the ocean on a foggy day.
