“My work stands as a visual history of the journey from childhood into adulthood—reflecting the scars, joys, and challenges of growing up in the 1950s and coming of age in the 1980s. Through texture, color, scratches, and embedded words, I explore personal and cultural change. As I age, my figures fade, mirroring a sense of invisibility and vulnerability, shaped by the collective consciousness around us.”
