About the Item
One of three "warped collection" paintings that were created on Maple board then water soaked with the intention to create a natural warping. The artist was looking to create a support type that mimicked the natural environment, which is absent of perfectly straight lines. The softness of the upper painting combines with the hard lines in the lower painting to take the viewer on a journey into an abstract landscape.
