About the Item
In this work, Corrado Ferrante weaves together memory, time, and sound within an intimate, layered composition. The musical score, partially veiled by material and chromatic interventions, becomes the site of a suspended narrative between what is visible and what remains hidden. The surface, marked by tears, stratifications, and superimpositions, evokes the passage of time and the fragile persistence of memory. A red thread crosses the composition as a vital, pulsating sign, guiding the viewer’s gaze and suggesting an inner rhythm. Both delicate and determined, it acts as a connective gesture, inviting the viewer to seize the moment and experience music as a visual, tactile, and emotional presence, where matter, silence, and rhythm converge into a contemplative artistic space for reflection.

Looking into his eyes and at the first words exchanged, I immediately perceived the spirit that infuses artists with the need to be creative and that has driven him to work continuously over the long years, pursuing a consistent path that has evolved and refined over time. Visiting his studio, which was also warmly welcomed by his wife, who still lovingly supports the man and the artist today, I was pleasantly surprised by his works, sincere and profound, thought out but never artificial... in short, real works. A studio filled with works, hung up to the ceiling, in different formats to create an intoxicating mosaic effect. Perfectly blended colors, even those dropped on the earth, kissed by a brilliant light coming from the large window, warm the soul of every viewer lucky enough to enter. I am therefore delighted to have been able to organize this exhibition, which is sure to please our most discerning collectors.
