About the Item
White is the predominant color in this picture. It is the last layer of paint that gives this picture its velvety tone, enveloping everything in silence, almost like snow or fog. It could be a landscape, but it could also be a view of the sea. The lower layers of paint, which came to light through sanding, show colorful traces ranging from light blue to gray and pink.
