About the Item
Untitled LXXIX is a unique oil on free-standing canvas painting by contemporary artist Ferle, dimensions are 200 cm x 140 cm (78.7 × 55.1 in). The artwork is signed, sold unframed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
This work is dominated by green and grey tones, which structure the composition and provide a sense of visual equilibrium.
For Ferle, painting represents a ‘moment’—an act that justifies the physical movement of the artist as she engages with the composition. Her canvases invite viewers to abandon familiar references and immerse themselves in the spiritual aura they convey. As art historian Emmanuel Dayde observes: “In her work, Ferle opens a door to another space—a fourth dimension. When observing her large color paintings, one feels close to black holes, physics, and the stars.”
Approaching abstract minimalism, her works are built from colored geometric patterns. Light and color are central to her pictorial exploration, becoming the very subjects of her art. Through this delicate investigation, Ferle establishes a profound and harmonious rhythm that encourages contemplation and meditation. Over the course of her long career, she has exhibited in museums and galleries across France, Europe, and Japan.

Elvire Ferle
For Ferle, painting is a ‘moment’ which alone justifies the motion of the artist, mobilized physically by the composition of her work. Her canvasses entice us to abandon all known references and leave us submerged by the spirituality that they are so full of. Her works, nearing abstract minimalism and often in extremely large formats, are composed of colored geometric patterns. Light and colour are central to her pictorial research and even become the focal point of her work. Throughout her long career, the artist has exhibited in museums and galleries in France, Europe and Japan.

Artist: Roger König b. Dessau, Germany (1968) Master student of Kurt Schönburg, HWK Halle, Germany.
König combines modern painting with acrylic with old techniques and in this way, he connects contemporary art with tradition. The natural clay color bestows the pictures with a completely special dim texture which stands in an exciting contrast with the delicate luster of the acrylic color. The features of the clay color allow a more intensive treatment of the surface. Often, there are lines, scratches or breaks in the surface, as if the canvas had been covered with a fair patina. More subtle strokes in the color bring graphic characters to mind, color gradients natural phenomena, divided canvasses the contrast which is immanent in everything: the principle of yin and yan.
Roger König's works are in private collections worldwide. His admirers include leading figures in international business, film and media.
