About the Item

« I am struck by the fact that in the formation of the constellations, in the clouds of starlings, in the schools of small fish, in the projections of fluids under the microscope, spiral movements. I find fascinating these dynamics that are found everywhere, and which are all life formations. I'm not looking for something scientific, but just a visual dynamic. » The paint is worked in thickness, like a living material. The surface has been superimposed, scraped, rubbed and worn to give it relief. This particular texture is reminiscent of raw natural elements. On the left, an explosion of greens is as if moss or grass is colonizing the space. On the other hand, the upper right corner is dominated by bright whites and greys, creating a vaporous, almost blinding atmosphere that suggests emptiness. Between these two extremes, pops of blue and purple create depth, while the darker, earthier bottom anchors the composition firmly. Everything seems to be in motion. We have the impression of witnessing an alliance between the vegetation that climbs and the clarity that floods the space. We are not looking at a frozen scene, but at an action in progress. It's the precise moment when things are being born, mixing the raw side of the material with a very soothing feeling of openness..
