Description:
The painting is created on textured plaster, in a style reminiscent of an ancient fresco—something that might have once adorned the wall of an old tavern, where time has left traces of warmth and wine. On a rich background of spicy reds and earthy browns lie the ingredients of mulled wine: slices of apple and orange, star anise, cinnamon sticks, and black peppercorns. They appear almost tangible, as if still infused with the aroma of a hot, spiced drink that warms the soul on a winter evening.
The ornate border, inspired by antique patterns, seems carved by time itself, while the slightly crooked, “tipsy” frame adds a playful note—as if the canvas itself has grown a little drunk on its own fragrance.

The artist seems to convey not just a still life, but a feeling—comfort, warmth, and the gentle dizziness brought by wine and life. These are not merely the ingredients of a drink, but symbols of coziness, passion, and inner fire.
