A Cotswold Sunset is an original contemporary abstract artwork by artist and painter Fleur Park. The comforting pink hues focus on the movement in the painting. Fleur Park's art is influenced by the push and pull of her country life vs her old city life. The juxtaposition of these two is seen in most of her work. The fields that surround her in her country life and in her childhood give her the sense of home and space and in this particular piece she presents the fields surrounding her home in a form almost like a patchwork quilt. Colour is also an important factor for Fleur as she is influenced by nature and natural raw colours found within the environment.

Fleur Park, artist and painter, has abstract and minimalist artworks available at Wychwood Art in our gallery and online. After pursing a history of art career in the art world, Fleur has finally come back to her love of painting.
