This Chinese ancestry, California based artist created collage layered paintings of remarkable quality and appeal. A great example of his best work and of good size. The layers and attention to the surface and transparency placing with harmonious, organic colors found in nature is a real find from this period in American abstraction. He had ties to Hawaii and there is an intriguing melding of Asian intellect, Gauguin and Rivera in his work.

Framed in a high quality custom frame with stained teak sides and 22 karat leafed face in gold.
