Layers of muted colors depict islands and mountains, its softness exuding a calming peace. Artist Jenn Williamson painted this composition after spending time on the shores of Parksville, Vancouver Island. Captivated by the beauty of the landscape, she has longed to move there ever since.
About the Artist
Artist Jenn Williamson offers tranquility and solace with her dreamlike landscape compositions. Following the dictates of her heart, Jenn works without any reference materials and operates with her intuition. Despite having a more abstract approach, her artwork conveys the atmospheric attributes of natural elements, from ethereal clouds to boundless seas. “Connection is at the core of everything I do, and painting allows me to connect with my Creator, the gifts I have given, and the people that are touched by my work,†says Jenn. Before discovering her passion for painting, she explored various creative avenues, including fashion design, woodworking, and furniture refinishing. Today, Jenn works in her home studio filled with ample natural light pouring in through the windows. When she is not painting, Jenn dedicates her time to working with a charity that helps at-risk and vulnerable youth, sharing precious moments with her family and friends, and listening to uplifting podcasts and audiobooks.
