This enchanting mixed-media collage by Rodolfo Morales—one of the defining figures of the Oaxacan School—embodies the artist’s celebrated blend of magical realism, folk tradition, and dreamlike symbolism. Morales frequently returned to the motif of La Novia (The Bride), a solitary and iconic presence that evokes themes of ritual, memory, and spiritual passage within village life.
