“Long Journey” is a new spray paint and marker work on canvas by Ettoja, one of the most prominent illustrators and street art creators in Lithuania (Ukrainian born).
This painting is a visual memory of long childhood train journeys across Ukraine—endless hours spent watching the world slip by through a window. The rhythmic clatter of the tracks, the fleeting blinks of light in the night, the quiet pulse of movement—all left an imprint that felt more like music than motion. Ettoja's work explores themes such as social issues, ecology, environmental protection, and the relationship between urban and natural worlds. Ettoja is a Ukrainian-born, Lithuania-based artist with a background in architecture. In his colourful murals and paintings, he explores environmental and social themes by using ethnographical patterns and symbols and mixing them with the urban and digital world elements. Artist’s most significant graphic element is a black thick line. He uses it in a austere manner, reminiscent of architectural drawings. His iconic Einstein-Traveller mural, located near Vilnius’ bus and train stations, has become one of the city’s most recognizable street art landmarks. Ettoja has also contributed to Vilnius' 700th anniversary campaign and created murals for leading tech companies.
