She ventured into art in a lyrical and circumstantial way in 1975, working with oil. Later she perfected her technique and took classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, performance, graphic design, art history, human figure, art objects, engraving, batik, mixed media, abstractionism, monotype, resins and molds and experimental painting. Distinguished artists such as José Luis Cuevas+, Alberto Castro Leñero, Manuel Felguérez, Gilberto Aceves Navarro, Alberto Gutiérrez, Emilia Sidauy+, Yani Pecanins+, Juan José Beltrán+, J.D.Weiss and Rafael Solana+, are among her teachers. She has participated in more than 135 group exhibitions and 45 solo exhibitions both in Mexico, United States, South America and Europe. Her artwork belongs to permanent collections in Mexico, Paris, Berlin, Bermuda, Texas and Cabo San Lucas. Channel 22 (CDMX) made a special about her career in 2006. Her Artwork has participated in two films "The woman after" and "Seven years of marriage". It was also the book cover of "What I’ve learned" by Estrella Aguilar. In 2006, under the sponsorship of TELMEX, she created the Women in Art Group, and chairs it to date, which has 180 career artists and 27 exhibitions and auctions. As a parallel work she teaches expression through color workshops and is Creator of Igual... Ninguno!, own brand of everyday items painted and intervened as art pieces.
