sides painted. It is wired and ready to hang. The canvas is 1.5 inches in depth meaning you do not need a frame for displaying purposes. Paintings are signed in the front and the back."
About the Artist:
Racquel Miller is a professional artist that resides in Connecticut who specializes in acrylic paintings with a calm and peaceful view. As a self-taught abstract artist she is inspired by nature, soft music, and life experiences which allow her art to be guided by feelings or moments in every stroke. It is a moment for her to pause, slow down, replenish, and relax. Moments such as morning walks pondering how subtle
calm it is going into deep thought about the wind blowing through the trees, streams of water running over rocks, the rushing sound of a waterfall or the birds chirping in their nearby homes inspires her work that gives me a sense of calm and comfort in a busy chaotic world. Her artwork is soft and soothing. Blues and greens are her staple colors that are happy
appealing, and can be used in many different shades. Being self-taught
mentored by several fellow abstract artists, she lets her intuitive imagination influence her creations. She works on heavy duty gallery wrapped canvas in various sizes with professional-graded acrylic paints. All her works are original and she puts special care in each piece that she creates. Being a 2nd place juried mixed media winner her work is currently featured at The Spectrum Art Gallery in Centerbrook, CT and collected in private homes nationwide.
