About the Item
(July 2019)(Two Canvas Panels) Together: 30 x 48 x 1.5 inches. Each Canvas: 24 x 30 x 1.5. Unframed paintings-Ready to hang-sides will be painted to match paintings (17-18 layers) Gallery Wrapped Cotton Canvases. Textured/Layered Abstract Paintings. Painted with palette knives. The Two paintings focus is on the abstract center lines
patterns I have created. I have used White, Gold, Ochre as my main colors for the center patterns with small Orange lines. There are hints of Gold touches though out the two paintings and there are touches of Orange through out the two paintings as well. I decided to paint on two canvases to create this painting to break up the middle. I use the term Primitive because I have painted with inconsistent strokes/free form so to speak. The textured areas I have created give an impression of an old painting maybe painted on rocks. There are small touches of Gold
Orange lines I created outside the center area. There are also small touches of Copper in parts of each canvas. I have added many layers of paint to this canvas starting with primer layers and then I actually started creating with the top 4 layers. There is a process I go through for this method. There are small details that are hard to pick up with my photographs. The paintings can be hung 4 different directions - so there is 2 Vertical hangings and 2 Horizontal hangings. Felt pads included on backside corners. Signed on the backside and Certificate of Authenticity included with the painting 1/1. **Please note the photos I have taken do not do justice to the feeling and look of this painting. ***PLEASE note: Lighting will make a huge difference in the mood of this painting-as with any painting. Overhead/Canned/Spot Lighting is the best or indirect Lighting. Never direct Sunlight. Wall colors also will make a difference with a painting. I have taken my photos outdoors with direct Sun light and indirect Sun light. I have also taken photos indoors with a Flash and with no lighting. I always do my "best" to have the correct coloring of the painting. I have used 200 ISO with my camera to take these photos.
