The SOC.I.A collective was created in April 2018 by two brothers Ihor Spaskyi born in 1992 and Arthur Spaskyi born in 1994 ho lives works in Kiev, Ukraine. SOC.I.A practice focuses on finding a balance between spray-culture, music, and their representation in the gallery space. In our musical-performative videos, we initiate the process of materialization of the sound, giving it a graphic form. And the body in this act serves as a conductor in the bundle of sound-ear-body-hand-spray-brush onto a surface. Such balancing of dance plastics in conjunction with music, which is specially created for the video itself, is transformed into graphic images on the surfaces.
