Ted Hinrichs (born 1951, Kansas City) is a local Kansas City artist with a studio in Blue Springs, Missouri. Ted received his Bachelor’s degree from The University of Kansas in 1974. During his time at KU, he began experimenting with art, especially painting, and loved it. However, after graduating Ted entered the business world and art took a back seat to the energy it took to compete in that environment. These experiences add an undertone of influence in his work. After selling his business he decided to pursue his passion for art. In the fall of 2007, he entered the Kansas City Art Institute full time and majored in painting. The Art Institute environment allowed Ted to immerse himself in the kind of attitude and discipline it would take to become a successful artist. During this time Ted was named to the Dean’s list. After a year and a half, he felt it was time to combine his experiences and start working on his own.
"I am an experienced abstract painting artist working out of my personal studio, Reflections of the Soul Studio, Kansas City MO. My work has been shown and sold through Galleries and designers for more than ten years. More recently I have opened internet sales.
My work stands apart by the use of top-quality materials and my trademark of making work that is not only alluring, but also meaningfully intelligent, and conversational. I was trained in the classical basics of painting at Kansas University and as a Dean’s List student at The Kansas City Art Institute. However, that training is only a starting point. My work is continuously progressing through experimentation with new ideas and materials. It is constantly pushing the basics, which keeps my art crisp and original."

Henriette “Yetti” Stolz 1956 Abstract Oil – Mid-Century Modernist Painting
Located in Denver, CO
This exceptional 1956 abstract oil on canvas by Serbian-American artist Henriette “Yetti” Stolz (b. 1935) embodies the refined simplicity and emotional depth of mid-century modern art. Painted in a harmonious palette of brown, white, black, and gray, the work blends abstract and figurative elements with confident brushwork and balanced composition. Stolz’s modernist sensibility reflects her deep engagement with postwar abstraction and the evolving art movements of the 1950s.
Signed by the artist in the lower right corner, the piece is beautifully presented in its original vintage frame (overall dimensions: 42 ¾ x 16 ¾ inches; image: 42 ¼ x 16 ¼ inches). Provenance: Estate of the Artist, Henriette “Yetti” Stolz. The painting is in good condition—please contact us for a detailed condition report.
