About the Item
This painting belongs to the series of paintings "Blue." Long before 2022, a process of spiritual transformation took place in my life, in particular, a rethinking of the feminine principle. This expression found embodiment in several works, namely in "Resistance of the earth".
"Earth Resistance" is the moment when gravity ceases to be merely a physical law and becomes a symbol of the separation of consciousness from the old world. The girl in flight is a departure from gravity. The Earth pulls not only the body, but also memories, habits, and old images of oneself. Her resistance is a struggle against the Earth as matter, that part of experience that keeps a person in place.
The movement of resistance in this image is:
- Resistance as the inertia of the spirit, which has decided to rise higher than the former orbit of life allows;
- Resistance to earthly weight — the weight of expectations, stories, internal prohibitions, and traumas;
- Resistance not as a force of violence, but as a determination not to succumb to gravity.
The yellow-orange bridge is a path between dimensions. The saturated colors symbolize warm portalization, a sign that the transition is not through cold, but through light. It is a bridge of joy crossed by those who no longer perceive burden as the norm.
The planets depicted in the painting are gravitational systems, other versions of life. They revolve as a symbol of surreal realities that already exist in parallel; new centers of gravity that she has not yet touched; great worlds that do not require struggle — only alignment with one's own orbit.
I will first pack this painting in clear film. Then in foam, then in bubble wrap. Finally, it will be packed in sturdy cardboard.
