About the Item
This painting was easy. The kids snuck into my studio. I had prepared some yellow canvases and they had a giggle painting this series of messy splashes. The image that I painted over the chaos, my little girl in her red boots. It is a painting of her future. Thoughts of her prizing open the doors of opportunity in her life. Her dogged determination to get her foot in the door. Somehow it is easier to overpopulate a little painting and get away with it that in a big canvas. This little painting is crowded with life.
