About the Item

Red, cow, kiss, girl, love, passion, animal. extra-large red painting, XXL, large oil on canvas painting, abstract expressionism. The painting will be shipped rolled, without stretcher bars, unframed. hand signed one of a kind certificate of authenticity DESCRIPTION: "Love" is a captivating exploration of the sacred bond between humanity and the natural world, rendered through a lens of magical realism. Set against a muted, ethereal grey backdrop that suggests a liminal space or a dawning dreamscape, the composition is anchored by a vibrant, saturated red cow. This bold use of primary color elevates the animal from a pastoral figure to a totemic symbol of life force and vitality. The emotional core of the work lies in the quiet confrontation between the monumental bovine and a small child. Their gentle nose-to-nose contact creates a silent dialogue, bridging the gap between species with tenderness and mutual recognition. This intimacy is echoed by the celestial red disc above—a blood moon or a heavy sun—which mirrors the cow’s hue and harmonizes the terrestrial with the cosmic. About the artist: Collectors highly regard Anastasia Aureum's work for its sophisticated fusion of realism, surrealism, and abstract expressionism. Often described as a "passionate art dance," her style bridges the gap between traditional fine art and high-luxury aesthetic, making her a frequent choice for large-scale architectural and elite residential spaces. Artistic Philosophy Style Aureum’s work is characterized by a "personal interiorization"—a desire to move beyond the surface of reality to capture the inner nature of her subjects. The "Art Dance": She fluidly merges genres, allowing figures to dissolve into abstract forms or emerge from surreal, dreamlike landscapes. Themes: Her portfolio frequently explores vulnerability, intimacy, identity, and transformation. Common motifs include fragmented human figures, circus/theater elements, and horses, often set against muted earth tones or vibrant, emotive palettes. Mediums: She is a multi-disciplinary artist working in oils, acrylics, watercolors, and even terracotta sculpture. Her large-scale canvases are particularly sought after for their "tactile" quality, achieved through meticulous layering and blending. Market Value Collector Appeal For art buyers, Aureum represents a blend of established prestige and contemporary growth: Institutional Presence: Her work is held in prestigious permanent collections, most notably the Vatican Museums. She has also been exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery in London. Price Range: Original works typically range from $3,000 to over $15,000, though her large-scale masterpiece "Circle of Life" has been valued at over $100,000. Limited edition prints and works on paper offer an entry point for newer collectors, often priced between $1,000 and $2,500. Global Reach: Her pieces are held in private collections across the UK, USA, Italy, Singapore, and France. "Cow", Oil on Canvas
By Renata Palubinskas
Located in Detroit, MI
This "Cow" painting vibrantly pops with hyper-realistic color. It depicts a highly detailed cow standing in against a blue background. Could it be an empty room? Could it be the sky? There is a very playful atmosphere as the cow is holding a dandelion gone to seed and the wonder is whether it will make a wish and blow. Its awash in a cartoonish blue with clouds and cloudy farm animals. This pairs with the lamb painting but is sold separately. Renata Palubinskas was born in 1968 in Kaunas, Lithuania, at the time still in the Soviet Union as the Lithuanian Soviet Socialist Republic. She received her diploma in Fine Art and Restoration from St. Zukas Technium of Applied Arts in 1989. After working at the M.K. Ciurlionis State Museum of Art, she emigrated to the United States in the 1990s, basing herself in Detroit. Renata's work rethinks historic iconography while intentionally addressing the modern world through a new perspective. The characters in her paintings are often caught between the struggle of good and evil. That struggle represents the choice of trying to obtain immediate gratification or realization of the self, and the haunting life experiences with latent possibilities for death. Renata uses schematic compositions with purposefully positioned figures and other visual elements. To attract attention to the most significant figures, she often ornate their garments with intricate patterns. They are typically placed in either a serene landscape or an interior setting with a threatening presence around them. Her work has been exhibited in Collected Detroit...
