Batia Malka (b. 1981, Israel) is a figurative ceramic artist and a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. In recent years, she has expanded her artistic language to include oil painting.
Her works emerge from close observation of everyday details, seeking moments of quiet, emotion, and meaning. The paintings draw directly from the material language developed in her sculptural practice, carrying forward a sense of ceramic memory through figurative, nostalgic, and delicate oil paintings.
