About the Item
This work of art was painted from a photo that the gallery owner took on a photo safari to Botswana. The group trekked for about 45 minutes and then the guides came up and this beautiful lion and lionesses. Botswana is a very safe country and very little hunting is allowed and is very controlled unlike other countries. The framed size is 32 x 42.
Lion in Botswana was painted by Ignatov Ignatov and was exhibited in the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition in 2019 in Charleston, South Carolina.

Ignat was born in Bulgaria and attended the prestigious art academy Secondary Art School of Applied Arts in Tryavna, Bulgaria. He 1997 he financed his move to the USA by the sale of his art.
