About the Item
Peter Biegel was one of the foremost painters in the sporting art world, and his passion for hunting and racing is very known and is prominent throughout his works. Biegel has paintings that are held in Yale’s trust and some are kept in the Queen’s Dragoon Guards Heritage Trust. He was also heavily connected to another prominent painter in the sporting world, Lionel Edward’s. And they at one point shared a studio with each other. And this helped him hone his skills and become a leading name in the sporting art world.
