About the Item

"Shore Patrol" captures a moment of striking contrast and delicate motion: a vibrant dragonfly sweeping low over the shoreline, its translucent wings threaded with intricate veining that almost glows in the sunlight. The creature’s vivid green and copper body stands out against the soft, rhythmic blues and greens of the ocean behind it. Waves curl gently toward the sand, their frothy edges echoing the fine texture of the dragonfly’s wings. The scene feels both serene and electrifying—nature’s quiet complexity suspended in a single, graceful instant. The painting is framed in a wide black wooden frame measuring 20.5h x 24.5w x .5d inches. ARTIST'S STATEMENT Creating is an addiction. With all the highs and lows you would expect. I am interested in the surface textures and creating paintings that portray them in realistic detail. Hopefully a viewer will feel they can run a hand over the feathers and moss, or grasp an object in the painting. This detail is usually composed in an abstract design. The design can occur naturally or be arranged by me.
