About the Item
Charming little 19th century oil on board. I am not sure if it’s European or American. The painting measures 12 inches wide by 6 inches high. The frame is 3/4 of an inch around. Painting does have some condition issues a couple of areas of missing paint and what looks like a possible crack upper right which is 2 1/2 inches long. The painting is obviously painted by an academic as seen in the brushstrokes. It does appear to have a signature lower right that starts with an H but I cannot decipher it.
