Very touching scene with two little girls. Two sisters are thrilled to meet their new pets that their parents have bought. The sincerity and immediacy of children's feelings depicted in this painting evoke the most positive emotions... Work by an unknown professional artist of the 19th century, oil painting on wooden board, good massive framed. Size app.: 40.5 x 30.5 cm (roughly 16 x 12 in) and nice golden gesso frame ca 65.8 x 55.8 cm (roughly 25.9 x 22 in). Very Good condition, minor wear to frame basically. Please study high-res pictures for cosmetic condition! In person actual painting may appear darker or brighter than in our pictures, strictly depending on sufficient light in your environment.
