About the Item

Chatter is a painting about the communication that happens between women and the groups that form as a result. These cohorts can be wonderful and supportive but often times produce a level of dialog that I find easy to disengage with and often loose track of what is happening. This piece started as many layers of texture, color and typographical words. All those layers add a rich history of the process of making this painting.
