The full caption reads: "Allegra's face was white as she asked, 'You are a reporter?' And she added with quiet scorn, 'A stool pigeon.' The girl's taunt stung. I ignored her, turned to Miss Agatha, and said, 'I ask you whether I've ever violated your confidence.' But Allegra only gave a little laugh of disbelief."
