Marquez paints breathtaking landscapes of Peru, mainly the Andes Mountains where the artist resides. He also specializes in depicting the people of his native country such as mothers and children both at work and as play. The charming figurative works of the artist show off the Peruvian villages as well as the people in their native costumes. Marquez’s artworks are known for their vibrant color and possess an impressionist quality of light.
