Arthur J. Krakower Oil Painting c.1996
Original oil painting by listed Octogenarian artist Arthur J. Krakower.
Krakower took up painting later in life. Most of his works are done when he was in his 80s. This was done in his mid 70s, making it an early painting for Krakower.
It was painted on New Years Eve in 1996. The subject of the painting appears to be Ninja Warriors.
Original oil on canvas. Dimensions 24" x 36". Signed verso. Good vintage condition.
Arthur J. Krakower (1921-2009) earned a bachelor's degree in fine art from San Jose State University at the age of 78. At the age of 80, he became the oldest graduate of the California College of Arts and Crafts (now called California College of the Arts), where he earned his master's degree in 2001.
