Campbell La Pun, originally from New Zealand and raised in Australia, is a Tokyo-based artist whose work bridges the worlds of pop art, street culture, and global advertising. After earning a BA in Media Arts from RMIT University in Melbourne, he relocated to Japan, where the collision of Eastern and Western influences greatly shaped his artistic vision. Tokyo's vibrant energy and neon-lit streets provide a backdrop for his large-scale, high-impact pieces that blend pop culture iconography with luxury branding. La Pun’s art re-imagines pop art, fashion, and global advertising, using hand-cut stencils, spray paint, and acrylics on wood and canvas. His signature style juxtaposes elements from East and West, creating a unique aesthetic that reflects the sensory overload of modern visual culture, from Times Square to Tokyo's Shibuya. His work has garnered global attention, with exhibitions across four continents and high-profile collectors, including pop stars and luxury brands like Moët Hennessy.
