Oil on Canvas. On the back present signature and address of the studio of 'artist (via Goito 16 in Florence).
The work copies the painting executed by Giovanni Bilivert (1585 -1644, Florentine painter, known for Baroque works inspired by biblical themes) preserved in the Palazzo Barberini in Rome.
Rich in detail and movement, the painting has scenic impact and has been widely replicated in the centuries since Bilivert's production.
The 'work presented here is an early work by Florentine painter Carlo Facchinetti, still linked to the strand of 19th-century historicism, while his production later shifted to popular subjects, producing many scenes of family life in rural interiors.
