We are please to announce that our gallery is now representing the larger collectible works on canvas of Chris RWK. That being said, we are offering several small works this week so that new collectors will be able to start their collecting of original works by Chris RWK. While his iconic street art painted on buildings in New York City, Brooklyn, Italy, Chicago, Canada and Japan are very large, most of his fine art paintings on canvas are small. 6x6", 12x12", 12 x 24" 24x24". We are offering a small 12x12" awesome original painting on canvas titled "Hard Times Make Beautiful Results ". His Robot is holding up a blue Diamond in front of a collection of collaged vintage comic book imagery. Chris RWK’s robots are a fixture of New York street art. Known for his iconic Robot images that can now be seen around the world, Chris RWK has created a compassionate character that is adored and loved by all.

John CRASH Matos is a true pioneer of the Graffiti movement. Crash was first noticed through his murals on subway cars and is now regarded as a pioneer of the Graffiti art movement.
This painting on canvas by Crash features a number of Super Hero symbols. Batman, Spiderman, The Flash, Fantastic 4, The Green Lantern, Superman, Robin and Captain America! The canvas measures 24x24"
His work is said to convey a "visual link between street life and established society". and in 1980, Crash curated the now iconic exhibition: "Graffiti Art Success for America" at Fashion MODA, launching the graffiti movement into a mainstream art movement.
In 1983, Crash was given his first major gallery showing at the legendary Sidney Janis Gallery in New York City. The first time a Graffiti artist ever exhibited at a major gallery, around the same time Keith Haring started showing at the Tony Shafrazi gallery, taking street art and graffiti art from the streets to a fine art gallery.
CRASH has been part of numerous museum and gallery shows around the world focusing on Graffiti and Street Art, and has works in many permanent museum collections.
