Two wings. Two guardians. To some, they may seem like threats — but trust them, and they will not cause harm. Trust Between Us is not about surrendering your defenses, but about finding a balance.
The composition reads as a measured standoff resolved into harmony: paired forms arc toward a central stillness, their edges tense but not hostile. Light gathers where the gaze rests, turning the gap between forms into a bridge rather than a fissure. The palette moves between cool depths and warmer glows, suggesting both risk and refuge.
What begins as apprehension resolves into a grounded “yes.” The work proposes a different kind of courage—the willingness to keep one’s center open while standing firm. In that mutual restraint, protection and intimacy become the same gesture.
