About the Item
Inside the Tango” captures the intimate rhythm and quiet intensity of a shared dance. Painted alla prima, in a single session, the work preserves the freshness of gesture and the immediacy of observation. The brushstrokes remain visible, allowing the movement of paint to echo the movement of bodies. The scene is impressionistic — not about exact detail, but about atmosphere, warmth, and presence.
The painting reflects a moment where music shapes the air and partners lean toward one another, held in a private world within a public space. It speaks of connection, rhythm, and the quiet drama of human closeness.
Oil on canvas. One of a kind.
Elena Bulatova is a Munich-based painter working primarily in oil, often in the alla prima technique. Born in Moscow, Russia in 1981, she received early training in a children’s art school, laying the foundation for a lifelong dedication to painting.
Her artistic practice is rooted in academic traditions, yet she continuously seeks freedom and individuality in her work. Bulatova often paints en plein air, working directly from life to capture the essence of a moment with immediacy and sensitivity. She is especially drawn to subjects found in her everyday surroundings—landscapes, people, portraits, and the human figure—exploring the natural beauty and quiet poetry of the visible world.
Over the past twenty years, Bulatova has developed her skills through a combination of self-directed study and mentorship with experienced artists. She has studied in diverse settings, including traditional icon painting in Moscow and the AktHof in Munich. Currently, she is enrolled as an external student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, deepening her engagement with classical technique and contemporary practice.
The gallery guarantees the uniqueness and high quality of this work of art, confirmed by a certificate of authenticity. By purchasing paintings by Elena Bulatova, you make a smart investment, as the price of her paintings is growing every year.

Elena Bulatova (1981) is a Russian artist living in Munich, Germany. After fifteen years of painting dedicatedly and hermetically - alternately self-taught and under the guidance of older painters - Elena Bulatova wishes to share her practice with the world. In her constant self-study, Bulatova has sought instruction from a variety of sources - from the Eastern Orthodox icon painting school in Moscow to the Academy of Fine arts in Munich. She is currently enrolled externally at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich to better understand the modern side of the art world. She believes that the true value of art lies in the meditative process that goes into creating such a work and in the years of mastery that a person can undertake and overcome to become a master in any field. The themes of her work are: nature, animals and authentic human beauty.

"Danse Enchanteresse", Gerard Valtier, Oil on Canvas, French, 35x46 in., Music
By Gerard Valtier
Located in Dallas, TX
"Danse Enchanteresse" by Gerard Valtier is an original oil on canvas that measures 35x46 inches. Impressionistic painting uses an array of bright colors to create a fun, musical image. Two women in vibrant pink and orange skirts perform an enchanting dance on stage for others. Many appreciate the energetic work of the brush to describe the foliage or the luminous backgrounds irradiated with numerous vibrant colors.
Seething with colors, sparkling, blazing, molten gold: the whole mystery of Gerard Valtier’s painting lies in the working of this colorful living chemistry, where the thickening cover of the glaze catches the reflections of the light, which progressively becomes incandescent.
The contrasting blue and yellow, basically naturalistic colors - characteristic of the impressionist palette - create a feeling of bedazzlement which send out their own light, directly imitating the natural effects of light itself. Thus, the property of the color, the interaction of colors as well as their power to create some light, definitely are the basis of Valtier’s work.
The artist can paint everything: barges along the quay, the busy crowds, Venice and its carnival, the bride and her procession - his whole painting is under the sign of the feast. Unlike Renoir or Cezanne, Valtier does not hesitate to use black as a true color, not one designed to soften or drain the pure color, as in the shadows. One will also appreciate the energetic work of the brush to describe the foliage or the luminous backgrounds irradiated with numerous vibrant colors.
Valtier has had exhibitions throughout the world and has received many awards. He paints from his studio in Arles, France. He is listed in Mayers, Akoun, La Cote des Peinteres, Bordas International, and Financial Art.
