Goga Gomareli is a multidisciplinary Georgian artist born in 1983 who lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia. He is also a musician and a professional in the field of computer engineering. Since 2000, he has been the drummer and co-founder of the band 'Hymera'. Over the years, Goga has blended his passion for technology and art to develop a unique artistic practice, where he transforms rare and obsolete computer components into intricate, visually striking compositions. Each of his artworks is composed of hundreds, sometimes thousands, of original technological parts. He does not paint or artificially alter these components, choosing instead to showcase their natural form, texture, and history. His pieces reflect months of dedicated manual assembly and a deep respect for the invisible beauty within machines. With more than 20 years of experience in the tech world, Goga’s work is a quiet reflection on digital heritage, rhythm, and structure. His goal is not only to create art, but to inspire a new way of seeing what most people overlook. His work is a tribute to technology — not as a tool, but as a forgotten form of art. He collects rare computer parts and gives them a second life by transforming them into artworks. Every piece, he creates carries the legacy of the machines it once powered. Goga calls this process 'GOGARTI'. It’s a personal, meditative approach where the artist allows each detail to speak. Through these compositions, he aims to reveal a hidden harmony — the kind that connects circuits, time, and emotion. The artist believes there is quiet beauty in the objects we leave behind. His art is a way to honor that silence, and to remind us of the stories within the systems we once depended on.
