About the Item
In this mid-century modern oil painting, two Chinese male figures in yellow and red clothing are featured predominantly in foreground of an urban landscape with tall, cubist buildings behind. The buildings are white and the hands of the figures are hidden inside their sleeves suggesting they are trying to stay warm during a cold time of the year.
There is some minor crazing on the surface of the painting but no paint loss. The painting is in a new silver tone wooden frame.
The signature of the artist is difficult to decipher with H. Xumo as the very best that can be determined at this time.
