Harry Roseland: 1866-1950. Well listed American artist with auction results over $250,000. This fabulous incredibly detailed oil on board measures 11 inches wide by 8 inches high. The painting is signed upper center in the frame of the painting within the painting,The beautiful hand carved newer frame measures 16 1/4” x 13 1/4”. This painting sold in 1994 at Sotheby’s for $10,350. The same subject matter painting with the same couple only sitting further apart, Just sold June 14 at a June 14 at an auction in Maryland for $10,000 including the buyers premium. It was also an oil on board with the same measurements.
