About the Item
Figurative oil on canvas painting by Iwan Kulik. Painting is in warm tones, main colors are brown, yellow nad green. Iwan Kulik has created his own characteristical style that is recognizable- his figures have elongated proportions, their bodies have pointy shapes. In paintings from this period, men mostly wear hats and suit lighlty inspired by pierrot while women are nude or wearing similair suit.
IWAN KULIK (born in 1959)
Studied interior design and painting at the Institute of Arts in Charków. He came to Poland in 1990 and settled down in Warsaw. His first solo exhibition took place in Polish Seym in 1991. Since then the artist held dozens of exhibitions in Warsaw, ?ód?, Sopot and Vienna. In 2001 he was asked by a famous italian vineyard Cormos to design a label for "Vino della Pace".
Oil paintings are the most dominant in his artistic output. They are usually painted in thematic series. Some of them are inspired by great historical figures and personas from art history. Others by moods, places and their atmosphere. His paintings and gouaches are to be found in private collections all over the world.

Very good condition.
SHIPMENT
The painting may arrive rolled in a strong tube or a box. Such a transport method is very safe for oversized works and provides lower shipping costs as well. Rolled works can be easily stretched by placing canvas onto wood stretcher bars and/or framed by a local framer upon arrival.
