DETAIL: Jeanette Lassen attended Edinburgh School of Art during the 1970’s as a mature student but was mainly self-taught. She exhibited at many galleries in Scotland and England - The City Art Gallery, London; The Kingfisher Gallery, Edinburgh; and The Castle Gate Gallery, Cockermouth, to name but a few. Jeanette was also commissioned to produce paintings for The Bank of Scotland, Sainsbury’s Head Office and for the P&O Shipping Company liner - Aurora. Jeanette was married to fellow painter Jerzy Marek and sadly died back in 2008.
