About the Item
The painting for sale is an oil on canvas by Licinio Campagnari, born in Mestre in 1920 and died in Andora in 1981. His favorite subjects are the mountains of the Aosta Valley, often depicted with pastures and typical dwellings. In fact, the painting depicts a view of the Champoluc - Pilaz valley with grazing animals. The condition of the canvas is good and it has never undergone any restoration work. The canvas frame is made of fir wood and measures 40 x 50 cm.
The painting is signed at lower right and was executed around 1945.
It is sold inclusive of a mecha-gilded fir wood frame, and the total measurements are 56x67 cm.
The state of preservation of the frame is good; it has minor imperfections due to the era.
