About the Item

Graphite marks, alternately black and silver infer night creeping up on a woman across all time and culture. She is returning home at the cusp of dark. Her duties and adventures undefined, offer a simple context for the known and unknown. Small paintings on wood and canvas reflect a moment in time through a variety of materials and at the same time capture another reality. Moments of everyday life like a field scarecrow or a boat in grip of spirit winds reflecting mythical and archetypal dimensions. Each image seizes an edge of consciousness to mark the inseparability of the inner and outer world.
