About the Item
Here for your consideration is one of the last paintings done by the well known Russian/American artist, Nahum Tschacbasov. Acrylic on canvas; signed lower right and dated, 1980. Titled on verso. The painting is framed in a new floating custom gallery frame with 3/8 inches silver edge with black sides and black interior. Overall framed measurements are 56.25 by 39.25 inches. Provenance: Estate of the artist Nahum Tschacbasov.
Nahum Tschacbasov's paintings are in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Brooklyn Museum, the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Art, the Jewish Museum in New York and In Israel as well as in many college and corporate collections.
