About the Item

This artwork combines vintage aesthetics with surreal elements, set against a thought-provoking backdrop. A woman in a black suit and bow tie, holding a cigarette, exudes timeless elegance. Behind her, a mint-green vintage car and the phrase "THE END OF THE WORLD" evoke existential reflection. The juxtaposition of nostalgia and modernity invites contemplation on time, identity, and change. In The End of the World, I aimed to evoke nostalgia and the inevitability of transformation, with the figure representing the grace of past eras amid a stark modern landscape, prompting reflection on resilience and existential themes. Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian canvas tm Unico were used. Finish – satin varnish. The ends are painted in the background color. Series “Life in Avatar”. Created on and shipped on a pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame. Painting is packed in cardboard box with bubble wrap. Artwork is signed and is accompanied by a certificate.
