About the Item

Beneath a tunnel, two figures linger in deceptive peace — a man lighting his cigarette, a woman lost in thought. Behind them, the red horizon burns with fire and smoke from the bombardments in Ukraine. They appear safe, yet danger is near, their calm is built on fragile illusion. The painting captures the essence of modern tension — the coexistence of peace and threat, beauty and fear. Through realism and restrained emotion, it reminds the viewer how easily the world can turn from ordinary to catastrophic. Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam tm and Italian canvas by Unico were used. The finish is satin varnish, and the edges are painted in the background color. This painting is created on a pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame. It is carefully packed in a cardboard box with layers of bubble wrap. The artwork is signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
