This composition is both concise and profound, capturing the resilience of Ukrainian women in war—their endurance through loss, pain, and hardship. The black dress symbolizes mourning and strength, while the flowing red fabric embodies the wind of change, struggle, or an inner scream breaking free. The red and black hues reflect the historic Ukrainian military flag, a symbol of sacrifice and resistance. The sand and black sky evoke a land that remembers suffering and an uncertain future.
