"Backstage", is a large theatrical Art Deco painting by French artist Paul Alex Deschmacker. The painting depicts two theater performers, one seated holding her mask in hand, the other a beautiful standing nude in an Art Deco shawl, with one hand on her guitar. Painted in rich, dark hues of red and blue, signed and dated 1932, ideal for an Art Deco/Early 20th century enviroment.
