About the Item
“As Cartas que Eu Escrevo” (2025) by Ritchelly Oliveira – acrylic and cardboard on canvas, 100 cm diameter (116 cm with frame)
A striking round portrait surrounded by symbolic doves that embody fragility, memory, and emotional truth.
“As Cartas que Eu Escrevo’’ is a 2025 original artwork by Ritchelly Oliveira, created on a round canvas of 100 cm in diameter and presented in a refined 116 cm custom frame. Executed in acrylic and cardboard on canvas, this piece combines meticulous figurative realism with a bold, terracotta-toned background that heightens its emotional impact. At the center of the composition is a serene yet powerful female figure, rendered with exquisite sensitivity and depth. Around her, white doves emerge in dynamic motion, their delicate wings creating a luminous contrast against her dark, velvety skin tones.
In Ritchelly Oliveira’s artistic language, birds symbolize fragility and the unspoken truths that inhabit human experience. Here, the doves act as messengers, like unwritten letters, encircling the figure with the weight of memories, hopes, and intimate confessions. This symbolic interplay is what makes the work unique: it explores the inner landscape of vulnerability through both gesture and atmosphere, inviting the viewer into a space where silence communicates more than words ever could.

Ritchelly Oliveira, visual artist, began his work in 2012, shortly after enter visual arts at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), he found
human figure a margin to present his speech about what he
understands the deeper aspects of emotional relationships. He works about what he suspects to be love and, believing that this is a universal feeling. Believing that affective relationships are built from the individual and
as their surroundings interfere with them, he tries to rescue the possibility
to construct discourses about love, especially black love. The importance
to reflect together on issues such as sexuality, responsibility
affective and colorism are necessary canons in this invitation to fulfill the ideals
dangerous and exclusionary forms of romantic love that circulate in our environments.

O Tempo Que Me Resta, 2023
Charcoal and Acrylic on Canvas

A meditation on time, introspection, and impermanence, O Tempo Que Me Resta by Ritchelly Oliveira is a deeply evocative piece that merges realism with poetic abstraction. This circular composition presents a contemplative figure, resting in thought, partially obscured by the dynamic presence of a bird in motion. The monochromatic rendering, enriched with subtle textures and intricate shading, invites the viewer into a quiet yet profound dialogue between stillness and flight.
Oliveira’s work is distinguished by his masterful use of charcoal, creating depth and contrast that feel almost sculptural. The seamless integration of the figure and bird suggests themes of memory, transition, and fleeting moments. The unconventional cut of the canvas further enhances the organic quality of the piece, making it stand out in both form and composition.
This painting is an exquisite example of Ritchelly Oliveira’s ability to balance technical precision with raw emotion. The intimate scale (50 cm diameter) allows for close engagement with the details, making it a striking addition to any collection. His works resonate with collectors who appreciate narrative-driven art—pieces that invite reflection and evolve in meaning over time.
The artwork is in impeccable condition, created using high-quality charcoal and acrylic on canvas. The contrast between deep blacks, soft greys, and delicate highlights gives it a tactile richness. The edges are finished, and the piece can be displayed as-is or framed according to preference.
Ritchelly Oliveira explores the tension between presence and absence, human emotion, and the natural world. O Tempo Que Me Resta reflects his signature approach—an interplay between hyperrealistic drawing and expressive abstraction. It is an invitation to pause and consider the passing of time, the weight of thought...
