Robert Giovani 1900-1977 was a noted french painter who favorite subject was the Montmartre quarter, especially the Sacre Coeur and around, in Paris. He used bright colors that he applied with a palette knife on the canvas or board, he also used paint brushes to paint. He was largely popular with the Parisian and French residents, He also painted scene of North Africa scenes where he stay for some time. One of his painting "Le Marche aux Fleurs" 10 x 13 inches sold at auction in 2008 for $5,885.00
